Judged, by the color of one’s skin
in the land of the “brave, land of the free”
condemned for the out, not whats within
where we were allowed to once dream.
The place where illegal is law,
we look down upon those with accents
diversity now is a flaw,
an olive tone a disadvantage.
No longer the “justice for all”,
prevails as a goal of the nation
once, one nation under God
today under discrimination.
